Rylea Bennett from Anadarko, daughter of Rick and Rhonda Bennett, has been selected to participate in the 2019 Miss Oklahoma Teen USA Pageant. The pageant will take place October 20-21 in Shawnee, OK. She will be competing as the representative of Caddo County and will compete in active wear, evening gown, and personal interview. The pageant has two age divisions, and the winners will represent our state in the 2019 MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA® Pageant. MISS USA goes on to compete in the MISS UNIVERSE® Pageant. The MISS USA Pageant system stresses good morals, physical fitness, communication skills, social awareness, and community involvement.
Rylea enjoys softball, trap, archery, gardening, and riding her horses. She loves to cook for her neighbors and friends, and her favorite downtime is spending time with family. She is a 4.0 student at Verden High School and holds the officer position of Sentinel for the Verden FFA Chapter where her projects are ownership/entrepreneurship of a cattle herd and floriculture. She is a member of the Caddo County 4-H Shooting Sports team in which she shoots trap, skeet, and sporting clays. Rylea is the catcher for the Verden High School softball team and is constantly cheering on her fellow teammates even from behind the plate. She is the president of her sophomore class and president of the student council. Her hope is to attend the University of Oklahoma to become a doctor and specialize in neurological pathology.
