Anadarko Chamber Shop Local Christmas Giveaway!

Anadarko Chamber Recognizes Shop Local Giveaway Winner!

Anadarko, OK – The Anadarko Chamber of Commerce created a “Shop Local” giveaway to encourage people to remember to do Christmas shopping in Anadarko first before looking at other locations. Statistics have shown that for every $100 spent in a local business $68 will stay in our local economy.

“We wanted to do a big present giveaway to promote a fun reminder for people to support their own community and that will help keep our tax dollars in Anadarko,” said David Scott, Chamber Executive Director.

Participants had to spend at least $20 in a local business and turned in their receipts to the Chamber for an entry into the drawing. After shopping at George’s Dept Store, Thresa Moser’s ticket was drawn and she was recognized as the winner at the Chamber meeting on December 20th. Several local businesses donated items toward the present and the total value was over $500 in gifts.
